About our animations

We specialize in illustration and love to convert hand-drawn work into animated videos for our clients. We will work with you on stylization and weave in your branding for a truly custom look, then layer in narration (if desired) and licensed music to hit the right note.

Explainer Videos

This is our most popular animation offering, and ideal for breathing life into your story. We can work in a range of illustration styles and can find the level of detail that works best for sharing your information.

Depending on the length, we like to allow 3-5 weeks to complete this style of video starting when we have your finished script in-hand. That said, sometimes we can work more quickly.

Time-lapse Animation

This is a popular format with a relatively simple process and quick turnaround time, and great engagement. Once your content is solidified, this can take 1-2 weeks from start-to-finish!

CONTENT

We always start with your content. If you want a narrated video, we’ll start with the script. and if you need help developing your script, we can connect you with experienced copywriters.

We walk through your content with you to understand your priorities, audience, assign video length and to make a recommendation for animation style, layout and flow.

Style and Brand Alignment

We take in your style preferences and branding, and present options for look and feel, plus develop the character styles. Around this time, we’ll also present you with narration voice talent options and music ideas.

Storyboard

Once we have direction for the video content and style, we move into storyboard sketches. This is where we develop the layout and composition of visuals for each major point of your content. We’ll review this together until we’re happy with the direction.

Next, we fill out and refine our sketches to storyboards that ready to animate.

Animation

After your sign-off, animation begins. We like to prepare well for this stage because while edits are possible, they’re more time-consuming once we start animation.

We’ll create a draft of the video complete with narration and music for your review, and then fold in any edits for the final version!
